It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the closure of Granstrom's Locksmith Service.

Recently, I have been made aware of a rumor and baseless accusations of theft circulating about me and my business. These claims are untrue, but the harm has gone beyond my reputation. The stress and pain tied to these accusations have affected me in a way I did not expect, and have taken away the confidence I once had in my ability to provide the level of service my customers deserve. Locksmithing is a trade built on precision, focus, and trust, and I have come to accept that I can no longer bring the best of myself to the work the way I always have.

For that reason, I am stepping away from the residential, commercial, automotive, emergency, and key duplication services I once proudly offered to the Marble Falls, Burnet, Llano, and Highland Lakes area. My customers have always deserved my best, and if I cannot give that, then it is time to close.

I will, however, continue to support the trade by helping to train the next generation of locksmiths through professional associations and other partners in the security industry. The craft has meant a great deal to me, and passing on what I know is one way I can keep contributing.

To anyone who heard the rumors and wondered: I stand by my work and my integrity. I am closing because I no longer have the confidence in myself that this trade demands — not because the accusations had any merit.

To everyone in the Hill Country — thank you. I have had the privilege of serving this community as a locksmith for nearly twenty years, most recently under my own name at Granstrom's Locksmith Service. In all that time, you allowed me to do work I loved, and that is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you to every customer who trusted me with your homes, your businesses, and your vehicles. Serving this community has meant everything to me.
